Imprints of Book Conservation — A Journey into Preservation and Conservation
| Date: | 2026/9/2 (Wednesday) to 2026/12/29 (Tuesday) |
| Time: | Library Opening Hours |
| Venue: | Hong Kong Central Library (8/F Cultural and Historical Resources Corner) |
This exhibition reveals the behind-the-scenes work of book preservation and conservation. Library book collections are vulnerable to environmental conditions, human handling and natural wear and tear. Over time, paper inevitably ages and bindings can become loose or fall apart. The exhibition showcases the specific conservation methods and preventive measures for extending the lifespan of the book collections.
